Our Story
Based in the West Midlands, Pet EU Travel is run by Jamie Lam, an experienced veterinary surgeon born and raised in Birmingham. We offer convenient and affordable legal travel documentation for your pets to travel to the EU. Our standard service includes a home visit or convenient location meet-up to create your Animal Health Certificate, saving you the time and stress of visiting the vets.

How does it work?
What you will do
1) Check your pet is microchipped and registered in the owner's name.
Your pet will also need to be up to date with a rabies vaccination you can get at your vets.

2) Email us on info@peteutravel.com to find a date convenient to you for your Animal Health Certificate appointment. We will need to know your date of travel and you will receive a list of dates to choose from.
Please note, this appointment must be:
- at least 21 days after your latest rabies vaccination with day 0 being the day the vaccine is given
- and within 10 days of your planned travel date with the day your certificate is issued to you being day 1

3) Contact your vets to ask them to send your pet's history to info@peteutravel.com, they are legally required to offer this free of charge upon request. The history must include the owner's details, pet microchip number and evidence the chip was scanned prior to rabies vaccination, date of rabies vaccination, manufacturer and batch number of the vaccination used.
What we will do
1) We will respond to your email and confirm a convenient date for your Animal Health Certificate appointment where you will receive the completed certificate. We will send a form to you to complete which asks a number of questions about you and your pet needed to complete the Animal Health Certificate.

2) We will use the information provided to complete your Animal Health Certificate and produce your invoice.

3) Jamie will meet you at your home or convenient meeting place to scan the pet's microchip and finalise details on the Animal Health Certificate for you to take on your travels.
